Normally, I’m not one of those people who likes to photograph their meals, mostly because my photography skills are lacking. The photographs I take of food look gelatinous and dull, which makes the dish appear mediocre, if not downright unappetizing.

But, in this case, I am willing to make an exception because

I flavored the entree with rosemary THAT I GREW IN MY GARDEN.

I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in.

Behold, my poorly captured dinner — homemade black beans with garlic and onion, sauteed spinach with parmesan cheese, a glass of dry white wine, and sole florentine WITH ROSEMARY THAT I GREW:

Sometimes, I manage to impress even myself.
